American-Sino Pediatric Services, as an extension of American-Sino Ob/Gyn Services, is a reflection of our commitment to the continuity of care to our clients. It is a natural progression following a welcomed addition to the family. omprehensiveness of care places further emphasis in the quality of our services. Therefore, the scope of our care extends beyond the child’s physical well being to include psycho-social and intellectual functions.
In the care of the well child, preventive measures are important and will include immunization, physical and developmental health screening, nutritional guidance as well as assessment of psycho-social and intellectual growth during health supervision visits. Care of the child when illness occurs is also provided at our well appointed and appropriately equipped clinical offices and associated testing facilities including laboratories. In addition, we can arrange further specialized care in conjunction with our extensive net work of secondary and tertiary clinical care institutions either locally in Shanghai or internationally in accordance with the family’s preference.
American-Sino Pediatric Services understands cultural variation in child care both in health and in illness and focus on offering highly personalized health care and supportive services for families unfamiliar with local health care practices in Shanghai. Our international team will ensure the provision of appropriate world class medical care that will integrate seamlessly with the family’s present and future home locations either in China or overseas. Our internationally integrated immunization schedule and the portability of our health record are examples in this direction.
